ODESSA - The UTPB campus is growing.

Officials broke ground on the 8.1 million dollar student multipurpose center on Tuesday afternoon.

It will house a state of the art fitness center, game rooms, study space, a child care facility, and a dining area.

The school says the contractor will get to work on it right away and it's set to open for the Fall 2010 semester.
