Vandals Strike at New Skate Park in Odessa

ODESSA - It hasn't even been open a week and already city leaders in Odessa are threatening to close Sherwood Park.

Since it opened last weekend, the city says the brand new skate park has already been vandalized

Vandals struck on Wednesday and crews did a quick clean-up on Thursday.

The Parks Department wants skaters to help police the park and be good neighbors, or they may have to close the gates temporarily.

The city says it may hold a meeting with skaters soon to discuss the issue.
