CRANE - School officials in Crane say they're exciting about the work to build and expand facilities on campus.
Right now, construction is underway on a project that could cost Crane ISD up to 6.9 million dollars.
The plan will build 18 classrooms, special population spaces, a gym, music room, and a district nurse’s facility.
The first part of the construction will be paid for out of district funds, not bond money.
The project started from a facility audit two years ago, and is aimed at replacing old elementary school facilities.
