BIG SPRING - Another West Texas lawmaker makes a move to rename the V.A. Hospital in Big Spring.

Congressman Randy Neugebauer is lobbying to have it officially dubbed the George O'Brien, Junior Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

He introduced legislation in the U.S. House of Representatives this week.

Senator John Cornyn did the same several weeks ago in the U.S. Senate.

O'Brien served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Korea.

He's one of only 70 Texans, and the only one from Big Spring, to receive the Congressional Medal of Honor.

O'Brien has also been honored with two purple hearts.
