ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Interstate 40 is closed at Santa Rosa due to accidents in the Clines Corners area of eastern New Mexico.
State Police say the road is snow packed and icy.
New Mexico transportation officials said crews are out plowing, salting, and putting down cinders on the interstate.
Meanwhile, difficult driving conditions are reported on Interstate 25. The road is snow packed and icy.
It's also snowing heavily from mile marker 435 to mile marker 460 or Maxwell to Raton Pass.
I-25 is also snow packed and icy with poor visibility from mile marker 299 to mile marker 319, Glorieta to San Jose/San Juan.
U.S. 64/87 has difficult driving conditions with snow packed and icy roads. It's snowing heavily from mile marker 350 to mile marker 360.
