ANDREWS COUNTY - An Odessa man is dead after a head-on collision early Thursday morning.
It happened just after 3:00 on Highway 385 about 10 miles south of Andrews in Andrews County.
DPS says 47-year-old Michael Riggins of Odessa was traveling north in the southbound lanes of the highway when he hit an 18-wheeler. Riggins died at the scene.
The driver of the truck, John Bolding of Littlefield, was not injured. There is no word yet on why Riggins was traveling the wrong direction.
