KBST Employee Arrested, Accused of Online Solicitation of a Minor

HOWARD COUNTY - A KBST radio employee is behind bars facing charges of online solicitation of a minor.

According to the Howard County Sheriff's Office, they received information on Friday pertaining to the case.

After investigating, officials determined that 27-year-old Kyle Wade Guthrie had made contact with a minor in a sexually explicit manner by using electronic communication.

Officials obtained a search warrant and several electronic devices were seized and have been sent for forensic analysis.

Officials tell NewsWest 9, they believe contact was made with a 16-year-old and that there could possibly be more victims.

The investigation is ongoing.
