ODESSA - Final autopsy results have been released after a body was found near Gardendale back in November of 2011.
According to the autopsy report, the cause of death was determined to be methamphetamine Intoxication.
32-year-old Cody Wayne Mercer of Odessa was found off of County Road 554 near Loop 338 in a bar ditch.
The body appeared to have been dumped about 10 feet from the road and was wearing little clothing. Authorities say there was some bruising on the body, but other than that no visible wounds.
